(1) About Visiting a Patient

In order to visit a patient of K-Tower and A-ward, an IC Card is required to enter the K-tower wards. Please drop in the information desk on the 1st floor of K-tower before visiting a patient.
If you visit the B-ward, D-ward except for the paediatric ward, and the E-ward, an IC card is not necessary. Please ask the room no# at the information desk

Sometimes, visiting a patient wouldn’t be available because of the patient’s condition. Thank you for your understanding.

About The Two Kinds of IC Cards

K-Tower

There are two kinds of IC cards, which are Supporter cards and Visitor cards.

Supporter Card

  1. 1. Only 2 persons whom a patient wants to have as visitors can use it for 24 hours.
  2. 2. This card can be used while the patient is in the hospital.
  3. 3. Please return it to the information desk on the day the patient leaves from the hospital.

Visitor Card

  1. 1. Visiting Hours: 10:00-19:00
  2. 2. Only one day pass
  3. 3. After visiting the patient, please return it to the information desk.

A- ward

There are two kinds of IC cards, which are Family cards and Visitor cards.

Family Card

  1. 1. Only 2 persons whom a patient wants to have as visitors can use it for 7:30-21:00.
  2. 2. This card can be used while the patient is in the hospital.
  3. 3. Please return it to the information desk on the day the patient leaves from the hospital.

Visitor Card

  1. 1. Visiting Hours: 10:00-19:00
  2. 2. Only one-day passes are available.
  3. 3. After visiting the patient, please return the card to information desk.

How to get IC Card

Supporter Card / Family Card

  1. 1. Please receive a form at the Care Team Station and fill in it.
  2. 2. Please hand the form over to the information desk on the 1st floor of K-tower.

Visitor Card

Please drop in the information desk on the 1st floor of K-tower and fill in a form.

Important

  1. 1. Please use the IC Card only by yourself. Please not lend it to other persons.
  2. 2. After visiting a patient, or on the day of discharge, please return the IC Card to the information desk on the 1st floor of K-tower.
  3. 3. If you forget to return it, please bring it within one week or send it by mail.

If you lose it, 3,000 yen per 1 IC Card will cost you.

About meeting during night

Please use the entrance of the Disaster Prevention Center of K-tower at night (from 22:00 to 7:30). The other entrances except K-tower are closed from 19:30 at night to 6:00 at morning for patient’s safety.

Requests from Kameda Medical Center

  • Visiting hours may vary among patients according to hospital rounds and treatments.
  • Please refrain from making large noises with visitors in the wards.
  • A physician may restrict the number of visitors according to your condition./li>
  • Please avoid having many visitors at once or with children unless it is totally necessary to do so. Also, we may ask you meet your visitors in the lounge instead of your room.

(2) Having an attendant

(Only K-tower)
In this hospital, it is usually not necessary to have an attendant. If, however, you want one, please consult with your nurse.
Should a family member wish to stay overnight at a hotel or a tourist’s house, please contact the Concierge Desk at extension: 7106.
