-During your stay-
(1) Daily necessities
- Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, tooth brush, nail clippers, and razor

- Pajamas and underwear (if rehabilitation is scheduled during your stay, please bring clothes that are comfortable to move)
- Box of tissues

- Patient gowns are available. The cost is 220 yen per day.
Patient staying the K-Tower DOES NOT need to bring the following items
The items listed below are already equipped in the K-Tower rooms. Only bring the following items if you have a preferred brand.
- Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, and body soap
- Bath and face towels
- Teacups with tray
- Hangers
We also offer linen and bedding for family/ friends that wish to stay overnight in the K-Tower rooms (1,100 yen per set). Please ask a nurse if necessary.
Others
If you are having surgery or delivering a baby, staff will inform of you any other necessary items.

- The shops at Kameda Medical Center offer many of the items that you may need during your stay.
(2) Valuables
- DO NOT bring excessive cash or valuables during your stay.
- We ask you or your family/ friend to look after your own belongings such as spectacles, dentures, hearing aid, rings, and wristwatches. Kameda Medical Center is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- Please use your safety box located in your bedside for cash or small daily items.
(3) Identify each patient
How to identify each patient
Your wrist band with IC chip is very important to identify you.
You will be frequently asked your name and date of birth as a process of identifying. Please kindly cooperate on this for your safety.
A measure for crime prevention
Patients in K-Tower and A-Ward can open the door of their ward by bringing the wristband close to the sensor. The wristband is water proof. It can be worn during shower.
(4) Cell phone
Please keep your cell phone on vibrate while you are in this hospital. However, please be sure to switch off it within 50 centimeters around the signs in restricted areas. You can use it in your room, EV hall, and the entrance hall.
Note: the PHS (Personal Handy-phone System) that staff uses in the hospital does not influence medical equipment.
(5) Leaving the hospital building or staying out of the hospital over night
You will need permission to go out of the hospital buildings or stay overnight outside of the hospital. Please inform your nurse about your intention.
When you get the permission and be outside of the hospital, please make sure to follow doctor’s instructions.
Should there be any changes in your health conditions, please contact Care Team Station immediately.
In case you cannot come back to the hospital by the specified limit, please make sure to inform us. Going out of the hospital without permission may result you to vacate the hospital.
(6) Discharge from the hospital
- 1. Your doctor will decide upon the date of your discharge and will inform you with reasons. Please kindly cooperate with the decision as hospital needs to attend new patients.
- 2. Please ask a clerk in advance if you need any documents prior to leaving hospital.
- 3. The time of discharge is basically in the morning. If you wish to leave in the afternoon, please ask a nurse.
- 4. The doctor or nurses will explain about follow-up after your discharge, and about things you need to be careful.
- 5. Making your payment ( Please see the “Makin Your Payment” page for more details); You can ask for the estimated amount of your payment from a clerk. Please make a payment at the cashier counter on the 1st floor of K-tower.
After you have paid the bill, we will remove your wristband. Please remember to take your personal items with you, but do not take any hospital property from your room.
