2. Preparation for Hospitalization

(1) Daily necessities
  • Toilet kit, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, cleansing foam, etc.
  • Teacup
  • Night clothes (pajamas)
  • Slippers
  • Kleenex (Tissue paper)
  • Personal medicine being taken

Patient gowns are available. The cost is 210 yen per day.


(2) Other
Staff or a nurse will inform you regarding any other necessary materials you may need if you are having surgery.
If you are delivering a baby, staff or a nurse will let you know of other necessary materials separately.

The shops at Kameda Medical Center have many of the items for sale that you may need while hospitalized.


(3) Attention about your belongings
There is a security box and key in the drawer of each patient's room. When you have cash or valuables, please use this. The key is made of green plastic. Please make sure to read how to use this security box before placing your valuables in it.

Please note: We strongly recommend NOT bringing valuables to the hospital as the hospital is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items.
