It is expected that your clinical elective work at Kameda Medical Center will be part of the academic requirements for graduation from your school. For this reason, it is essential that the authorization for taking a clinical elective at this institution be received from your Dean's Office. The application provides for this authorization and health insurance coverage.
Currently, students who are regularly enrolled in medical school are not charged additional tuition for training at Kameda Medical Center. Housing can be arranged through the Post Graduate Medical Education office at a rate of 1000/yen per day. Kameda staff cafeteria is available for economically priced meals at 350 yen/meal.
Schedule:
Our electives are available during all months of the year depending on availability of faculty and rotations already selected by Kameda residents and medical students. Usual maximum is two foreign students at a time.
